CLAIRE GAGER

Storyteller, dream weaver, and hopeless romantic are a few of the words Claire Gager has used to describe herself as an author. Claire firmly believes that stories we share with others are a way for people to connect, whatever the story may be. This is where her love of writing and storytelling began. An avid reader since her youth, she became a story teller through her retelling of stories, redeveloping them, and then creating her own through various life experiences. Her favorite stories are ones that have left deep impressions on her heart, enlightened her mind, and strengthened her spirit. From these beloved stories that touched her, she began writing for writing's sake. As she wrote, more elaborate stories developed, and plots for her books were born. 

Claire Gager is a southern California based author. Born, educated, and ongoing resident of the Golden State, she lives with her husband and two autistic sons. She is a trained counselor and public administrator, and currently directs a federal program at a university. Her writing began in 2012 with two self-published novels, and from there her love for writing flourished. Claire, being a woman of faith and a trained counselor, combines these skills together in her tremendous ability to weave spiritual fiction stories in The Last Prophet series where her characters struggle, fail, and triumph. As a wife, and mother, a lifelong educator and pupil, and now a writer, Claire's life never has a dull moment. She is a university administrator by day, and by night she lets the muses for her stories aid in her writing. One of Claire's latest endeavors has made her a staunch advocate and voice for children and adults with special needs, especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other non-apparent disability. It has become her mission to create awareness and a safe environment for all individuals regardless of color, race, creed, or ability. 

Whether it be through volunteering, sharing stories with others, or spending time with those in need of assistance, her recent advocacy and education efforts have been fulfilling and provide much material for Claire's ongoing storytelling. Claire hopes that the stories she shares through her writing will inspire and encourage readers to seek and live a life of purpose, and to find their own meaning. Each story Claire writes is a glimpse into her faith, her hopes and dreams, her passion and purpose, and her love for her family, friends, and life in general. She loves to meet new people and make new friends in person through face-to-face interactions and not just social media. Claire is looking forward to meeting her readers and sharing more stories.
